Scenes of Lambton Photo Contest: Historical Edition

In honour of our 140th Anniversary in October 2015, we held a Facebook Photo Contest – Scenes of Lambton Historical Edition, which showcased various landmarks in Lambton County.  We received a beautiful variety of artistic photos – from the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia, to the oil fields in Oil Springs, to an abandoned house in Port Franks – the submissions reflected many historical sites around the County.

For the contest, the 12 photo submissions with the highest number of votes were each awarded $140 and were featured in our 2016 calendar.  Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you to everyone that submitted photos for the contest!  Lambton County has a rich heritage and we were pleased to feature many historical places.

This beautiful photo of the covered bridge in Petrolia, by local photographer Sean Donnelly, was one of the winners in the photo contest.  Sean generously requested that his $140 prize be donated to Christmas for Everyone, a charity that our staff, agents, and brokers were donating to at the time that Sean won his prize. Thank you, Sean, for this thoughtful donation!  Sean’s photo will also be featured on the cover of our annual newsletter to policyholders.
