POSITION: Chief Executive Officer

The Role:

As Chief Executive Officer, you will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for guiding the overall strategic, financial, and operational direction of Lambton Mutual. Your leadership will ensure that the organization remains financially strong, operationally effective, and aligned with its core values of honesty, fairness, and personalized service.

You will provide forward-thinking leadership across all key areas of the business, including strategic planning, regulatory and industry engagement, financial oversight, risk management, governance, and team development. You will foster a strong, values-driven culture while deepening relationships with policyholders, staff, brokers, and community partners—ensuring that Lambton Mutual continues to deliver trusted personal service and remains a respected Mutual within Ontario’s insurance sector.

The Person:

We’re looking for:

• Extensive senior leadership experience in insurance (Mutual background is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of FSRA regulations and industry best practices
• Experience working with a Board in a governance setting
• Proven ability to lead strategy, operations, and people
• A genuine connection to the values of Mutuality, local service, and integrity
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative leadership style, strong organizational skills, adaptability, and growth mindset
