When you insure with Lambton Mutual, you can expect that our Loss Prevention team will be there to assist you in identifying safety hazards that may exist on your property before you have a loss. This service is free of charge to policyholders and benefits everyone. By reducing losses, we can keep insurance premiums more affordable.

Our people are dedicated to improvement and undergo ongoing training as technology changes. Woodstove installations often pose potential fire risks, so we have a W.E.T.T (Wood Energy Technical Training) certified individual on staff to assist you. In addition, our people are knowledgeable about construction, electrical wiring, plumbing and heating systems. If you have any questions, we're always just a phone call away!

We also offer a fire extinguisher recharging service for policyholders. Simply drop your extinguisher off at your agent or broker's office.

Mutual Protect Program:
Ontario's Farm Mutuals have joined forces with the Ontario Provincial Police to bring you "Mutual Protect". It's a simple but effective way to have your valuables linked to you. Because we know the program works, we supply the necessary tools to you completely free of charge.

Here's how you can protect your property from theft:
1. Contact your agent or local OPP office to pick up a Mutual Protect engraver.
2. Write your vehicle license plate number on all your easily portable valuables, such as computer equipment, TV's, VCR's, stereos, cameras, etc.
3. Return the engraver when you're finished and you'll receive your free Mutual Protect window stickers to let thieves know your home is off limits!
